This nightstand was in my husbands bachelor pad before we got married. He hates that 'his' things weren't good enough for me. So I decided to make 'his' nightstand good enough for our bedroom! It was easy. Sand. Prime. Paint. I used a Martha Stewart glaze from Home Depot. Then nobs are from Hobby Lobby. I fell in love with those. It's a little girly, but men don't usually care.
